San Antonio Summit 2008

I went on my first business trip this week and what a great time I had. The picture below is of my co-workers we decided to go to San Antonio 2 days early before our meetings started so we could do some sight seeing.

Everything was beautiful, we could walk right out of the hotel on to the River Walk which was full of shops and restaurants.

We even did the tourtist thing and took the boat ride.

ROSS TURNS 14

Ross finally got that cell phone he has been asking for, I do believe he had a huge smile on his face all day. He decided to have dinner at home so we let him make the menu which consisted of King crab and Asian Coleslaw and of course a ice cream cake from Diary Queen.

Christmas Day

No matter how old the kids get they still love Christmas morning. Every year we tell them they have to wait until atleast 7:00 before getting us up. Of course they have already been looking a gifts since early morning. The best surprise of all was opening the Wii, the whole family is hooked it's so much fun!

We really surprised Ross this year, he had no ideal that he was getting the skateboard he has been asking for.

Amanda got her Guitar Hero that she wanted and lots of Tim Burton movies

Even though Todd really didn't know what was going on he loved his new Diego jeep, he's still working on pushing the petal and steering but I'm sure he will figure it out before long.

Christmas with the Quackenbush side

We had a blast with Richard and his new family, it was great to meet my soon to be new sister-in-law Katrina. Richard asked Katrina to marry him while they were here on vacation and we are so excited, looks like we will be taking a trip to Seattle this year.

We went to Busch Gardens for a day so the kids could get to know each other, they loved the rides.

Christmas with my family

What a great time we had this Christmas Season!! We first started out by celebrating with my family at Ed & Kristy's home. My parents were so happy for have all their kids together to be with them on this special time of year! Pam & Ron came in for a few days, and we added a couple of new babies to our growing family!
